Via the town Tsetserleg we go to Khorgo National Park, comprising the dormant Khorgo volcano and Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake (Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur). (B,L,D)

Day 3
We stay in Khorgo National Park, climb Khorgo volcano and enjoy the wonderful view from its peak. If you wish, you can hike from the volcano to our yurt camp, a distance of 12 km. Our route takes us through the town of Tsetserleg, the centre of Arkhangai Province. We stop en route to take a look at the mighty ChuluuT Gorge, through which the Chuluug river flows.
